As women, our confidence and mood is often affected by the state that our hair is in. Whether you are in between styles or in a not so sure stage of what you want to do with your hair, it can get stressful trying to find something to do in the meantime. I know I often struggle with my hair while waiting between hair appointments and do not have the time to prep and do my hair every morning. As a result, I was looking for something that was, 1. Easy to put on 2. Doesn’t require daily styling 3. Could be worn multiple ways. As a working woman and mom, who has time to daily prep their hair? NOT ME! So, I needed to find something quick and in a hurry.
I decided to have a conversation with my friend, and she brought up the thought of getting a headband wig. She talked about how easy they were to put on for running errands and in between styles. And now that I have tried one myself, I can honestly say that she was right on it with the versatility of the headband wig. I received the Luv Me headband wig in 22 inches and the texture in deep wave. I specifically love the deep wave because it is much easier to make it look natural with the texture of my natural hair. The deep wave also provides more versatility in my own opinion, due to your ability to style the curls. If you would like a sleeker look, wetting your curls helps to tone down the natural puffiness of curly hair. However, I find that I naturally prefer my hair bigger, so I typically spritz the hair with water in the morning and let it do its own thing as the day goes by.
As a woman who typically wears protective styles such as braids and locs, I am impressed with how easy it was for me to figure out and style a headband wig with no experience. For my women who struggle with being challenged in the hairstyling department, this is a lifesaver!
