As a mom to a toddler, I am always trying to find ways to make life easier, to make mommying easier. As a teacher, mom, wife, and all the other roles that we play on an everyday basis, life can get hectic fast. I found myself struggling to carry Kai’s things and also my own. And now that Kai is 13 months old, I am trying to rid myself of the bulky diaper bag. It was cute while it lasted, but I am moving on to smaller and better things :).
Am I the only mom that struggles with wanting to take everything my child owns and packing it in a diaper bag? Because it was so large and could fit just about anything I found myself packing things that Kai barely or never used just for the sake of having it just in case. I knew something needed to change when I started to forget Kai’s diaper bag at home. It was such an inconvenience to carry that I would leave it at home on accident.
Bumble And Bundle creates zipper carry-all pouches with a connected wrist strap for the mom on the go. They come in a variety of designs and sizes from 10 to 16 inches. I love the fact that they come in different sizes because as my little gets older, I plan to carry a smaller pouch. While using these bags, I found so many uses for them and this is what I will be sharing with you today. Anything that can make mommying our little ones easier is a win in my book, as I know that motherhood comes with a lot of things we don’t have control over.
1. MINIATURE DIAPER BAG
The thing that makes many diaper bags a hassle is their size! I would literally carry my purse and Kai’s diaper bag every day! And this got tiring really quick. So I began to think of the things Kai truly needed, with no fluff. The things he needs are:
- Diapers (I normally pack 3)
- Small container of baby wipes (refillable)
- 1 change of clothes ( shirt and shorts, or an onesie)
- Pacifier
- Ziploc of snacks
2. mom ON THE Go MAKE UP BAG
There are times when you want to carry your makeup without bringing your whole case, and these bags are perfect for that. They are large enough to fit your makeup staples but small enough to place in your purse for easy accessibility. Mommying with this pouch is an easy way to make sure that I always have the things I need. Things I like to carry are:
- Concealer
- Bronzer
- Concealer brush
- Beauty Blender
- Mascara
- Eyebrow pencil
- Staple eyeshadow palette (usually only if I’m feeling fancy)
- Lipgloss or Lipstick
3. freshen up bag
Sometimes you have somewhere to be after work, but you’re not able to make it home. In times like these, I love to pack a freshen up bag to use so that I can put myself together after a long day’s work. Being able to clean yourself up, can make you feel refreshed and new for the night ahead. Items I place in my bag are:
- Tooth brush
- Toothpaste (travel size)
- Lotion
- Deodorant
- Personal hand sanitizer
These pouches have so many uses, and that is what I love about them because even as Kai gets older I can find another use for them so I get all the wear out of them that I can. This is what I love about these bags because the possibilities are endless, whether you are a mommying a newborn, toddler, or older children.

These bags are super cute. I love the idea of using it as a freshen up bag. I have one at work in my desk drawer, but would love to have one in the car for car rides when I am in need of freshening up. And like Kandece says these would be great mom gifts.
